Patience and diligence in adversity.

While at Walgreens we moved to the Fully-insured Private exchange and saved 10% of total medical spend the year we moved. Three years later we moved to a self-insured private exchange and, again, saved 10% of medical spending in that year as well.
If you could automatically receive a 10-20% reduction in costs in three areas/programs, what would your dream list be?
Chronic care delivery, pharmacy spend, flagrant claims spend.
What is the most innovative program you will focus on in 2021 and/or 2022?
Digital healthcare solutions.

Building a well-being culture around digital and telehealth care solutions.
What virtual care solutions did you roll out during the pandemic? How valuable were they and why?
I assisted with rolling out telehealth solutions at employers that were valuable and filled a need.

Innovation can occur quickly when there are demand and urgency. We learned in 2020 that we can innovate quickly which will carry into the future.
