Tee Jay commissioned as a nursing officer into the U.S. Air Force at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas in 2001. After serving 5 years on active duty, Tee Jay transferred into the Air Force Reserves and took a nursing position as the Clinical Director/Administrator with Arkansas Center for Surgical Excellence, Hot Springs, Arkansas. Later she moved into Case Management for chronic conditions with Blue Cross Blue Shield – Arkansas. Tee Jay left Blue Cross to pursue her passion and work with veterans at the Arkansas VA hospital where she resides today working in surgery and serving on the Unit Level Clinical Leadership Council.
Tee Jay continues to serve in the rank of Major as the Chief Nurse with the U.S. Air Force Reserve Aerospace Medicine Squadron out of Little Rock Air Force Base. She is completing her masters of Science degree in addiction studies with Capella University and holds a Bachelor’s of Nursing from University of Arkansas, Monticello. She is a Certified Case Manager and wellness enthusiast.
