Rasheda Ali

Author, Media Spokesperson, Speaker and Parkinson's Advocate

, was inspired by her children and her father, Muhammad Ali, who suffered more than 30 years from the disease.

As an advocate of stem cell research, Rasheda travels the globe raising awareness and funds for neurocognitive disorders. Simultaneously, she provides encouragement and hope to families struggling with neurocognitive conditions.

Rasheda has served as the keynote speaker for the National Parkinson’s Foundation Moving Day events in Tampa, Florida and the Bringing Hope to Life fundraising gala for the Parkinson’s Foundation of Western Pennsylvania. Her most recent speaking events include speaking for We Day KY at The Kentucky Center for Performing Arts and the Reviving the Islamic Spirit events in Toronto, Canada and Putrajaya, Malaysia.

Rasheda was a guest speaker at the “I Am Ali” film screening at the New York Historical Society and for the Michael J. Fox Foundation leadership retreat in New York. She was a presenter for the 2016 Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Awards, accepted her father’s induction into the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame and also accepted the “People’s Champion Belt” at a 50 year anniversary celebration of the Chuvalo/Ali Fight in Toronto, Canada. Rasheda and her family were invited by President Barack Obama to attend the first Eid celebration at the White House, where she gifted the President Muhammad Ali cufflinks.

Rasheda has worked with the Muhammad Ali Parkinson’s Center at Barrow Neurological Institute and the Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville, Kentucky. She’s served as an Advisory Board Member of BrainStorm Cell Therapeutics and has raised funds for the de Paul School for the Gifted in Louisville, Kentucky. As a member of the Screen Actors Guild-­?American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, Rasheda has appeared on “Dateline With Katie Couric,” “Good Morning America,” “The Hollywood Insider with Pat O’Brien,” CNN’s “Newsroom with Don Lemon“ and “Daughters of Legacy,” “The Today Show,” FOX News’ “The Strategy Room” and “Your World With Neil Cavuto,” “EXTRA,” “New York Nightly News With Chuck Scarborough,” “The Reid Report” and “News Nation with Tamron Hall.”

Rasheda formed a media company Raw Dreams LLC in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2007.
