Melissa Halverson has a B.S. in Management from San Diego State University and over 15 years of experience in Human Resources. She has been certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) since 2003, a Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) since 2012. Currently, Melissa is the Benefits & HRIS Manager for WAXIE Sanitary Supply. WAXIE is the largest family-owned distributor of janitorial and sanitary supplies employing over 850 employees in the U.S., and offering a comprehensive benefits package through a private exchange. Melissa enjoys long distance swimming, is a proud mom, a supportive military spouse and served as the command ombudsman assisting military families through Navy life.
