Jill Harmatz is a Senior Director of Provider Contracting in one of two regions in Southern California. She oversees the negotiations for hospital contracts, medical groups, and Ambulatory Surgery Centers in her region. She is involved in many cost saving initiatives at Blue Shield including bundled payments with ASC’s through Global 1. She worked for Care America since its inception before it was acquired by Blue Shield. Jill holds a B.A., M.ED. and a MPH from UCLA.

In her free time she enjoys spending time on the golf course with her husband watching their two son’s play competitive golf.
