Neal is a Chief Medical Officer for Aon. He works withclients across North America to assist them with the strategic and tactical planningand implementation of programs addressing the increasing challenges of health caredelivery and finance.Prior to joining Aon, Neal was medical director for Moda Health Plan in Oregon,serving individuals, employers, Medicaid, and Medicare in Oregon, Washington, andAlaska. Concurrently, he served as chairman of evidence-based best practices orOregon Health Leadership Council. The OHLC is a collaborative organizationworking to develop practical solutions that reduce health care costs’ rate of increaseand premiums so health care and insurance are more affordable.Neal has also spent nearly two decades in the practice of medicine, with a focus onfamily medicine. That time in the practice of medicine includes four years of servicein family medicine for the U.S. Air Force, at both the U.S. Air Force AcademyHospital in Colorado Springs and at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada. Neal alsoserved the National Health Service Corp in rural Oklahoma.Neal’s expertise includes Medicaid and Medicare, Value Based Insurance Designs,Reference Price Programs, Chronic Intensive Ambulatory Care Programs, MedicalHomes, Accountable Care Organizations, Risk Sharing Models, EmergencyDepartment Information Exchanges, Specialty Drug Management, and populationhealth.
