Dr. Kathryn Harris-Stephens is a Senior Consultant in Willis Towers Watson’s Pharmacy Practice. She is based in our Atlanta office and reports into the National Pharmacy Practice. Kathryn has 16 years of pharmacy benefit management experience in both vendor and consulting roles, having built the foundation of her career working with complex national employers inclusive of a Fortune 5 company. Her background includes formulary development, pharmacy benefit design, value based benefit design, audit, population health projects, medical and pharmacy integrated analytics, sales, account management, and product development and management. She has extensive
experience with plan design, member communications, and implementation activities, as well as building custom industry leading programs to enhance member outcomes. Kathryn is passionate about the importance of prescription drugs for the health and productivity of the American workforce. As a clinician, she believes every person deserves patient-centered non-transactional care.
Role at Willis Towers Watson
Kathryn’s responsibilities are focused on pharmacy benefit consulting relationships earned via the development and implementation of value-driven strategies, helping employers extract the maximum impact from their pharmacy benefit plan. Specific tactics include in-depth analysis of current plan design, pharmacy benefit plan performance and pharmacy benefit manager vendor relationships and contractual terms.
Education and Credentials
Kathryn graduated summa cum laude from Paine College with a B.A. degree in English. She subsequently earned both Doctor of Pharmacy and Masters in Health Care Management degrees from Mercer University.
