Dr. JJ Mayo is an accomplished wellness coach with over 15 years of experience in the health and fitness industry. He holds a Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology from the University of Mississippi and is a registered dietitian, credentialed by the American Dietetic Association. He has published over 50 articles in lay and scientific journals regarding various aspects of fitness and nutrition. Dr. Mayo has been quoted in magazines such as Men’s Health, Bicycling Magazine, and US Weekly. His most recent work includes authoring a book entitled, “101 Weight Loss Tips” and writing online weight loss tips for the website of NBC’s reality TV show “The Biggest Loser.” He is a 10x Ironman triathlon finisher and Boston Marathon Qualifier.
