For over 14 years, Dr. Amr Fahmy Has been working both clinically and non-clinically to improve patient care in all hospitals that he joined. Since 2012 Dr. Amr has been quality and patient safety director in PSCCH, He has a major role in developing, maintaining and improving different processes which reflects on patient care directly and indirectly. His long experience in hospital strategic planning was an asset to the hospital and the Hofuf-city health directorate to develop both midterm and long term strategic plans. He led PSCCH to achieve JCI accreditation, CCPC, CBAHI and GHA. Before that, he worked as a quality specialist in Dar- Alfouad hospital (Affiliated with Cleveland clinic – OHIO) and it was the only accredited JCI hospital in Egypt in 2005 and has been re-accredited since then.
He is a physician graduated from Kasr Al-Aini medical school of Cairo university, Egypt in 2004.
Pursued higher degree in healthcare quality and was one of the early batches that held Diploma of “Total Quality Management for healthcare reform” from American university in Egypt in 2009. Also, Certified professional in healthcare Quality® CPHQ since 2014 by NAHQ. Member of Egyptian Resuscitation council since 2008. Member of the Saudi society of Quality since 2015. Member of the Canadian society of Quality since 2017.
