EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, BENEFITS ADMINISTRATION
UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA (USC)
Awilda is responsible for developing and implementing strategies for the administration of USC’s benefit programs, as well as directing the day to day operations regarding eligibility, education, enrollment and counseling for the health care, retirement, education, financial, and quality of life programs that USC offers its 16,000+ benefits-eligible employees at all USC locations. She joined USC in 2002 after a stint at the Jim Henson Company where she was director of human resources and benefits for east and west coast operations. Prior to that, she held benefit manager positions within the entertainment industry with such companies as Universal/Sega GameWorks and CBS. Awilda holds the Professional in Human Resources certification from the Society for Human Resources Management, and a bachelor’s degree in art history from USC. She is an avid Trojan football fan.
