Better by MTA Membership
These Terms and Conditions govern the membership program for Better by MTA, administered exclusively by Healthcare Revolution LLC (“HREV”), the exclusive technology partner of the Medical Tourism Association® (“MTA”). These terms apply to all members subscribing to Better by MTA, a global platform that includes membership in the platform and in the MTA. By enrolling in the Better by MTA membership program, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Role of Healthcare Revolution LLC and Medical Tourism Association
Healthcare Revolution LLC (“HREV”), a Delaware corporation, is the exclusive technology partner of MTA. HREV is responsible for the development, management, administration, and operation of the Better by MTA platform. This platform delivers membership benefits on behalf of MTA, including access to the platform and membership in the MTA.
Membership payments will be processed by HREV, while MTA retains its role in providing overarching association benefits, ensuring members receive comprehensive support from both entities.
2. Description of Membership Services
Better by MTA membership provides:
• Access to the Better by MTA platform for networking, resources, and services related to medical tourism.
• Membership benefits in the Medical Tourism Association, including discounts and participation in MTA programs.
• Additional resources as outlined on the platform’s website at https://www.better.medicaltourism.com.
Benefits are subject to change, modification, or substitution without prior notice. HREV and MTA make no guarantees regarding the availability or continuity of specific benefits.
3. Membership Terms
• Membership Plans: Memberships are available on a monthly or annual basis, both with auto-renewal. Monthly memberships incur a higher fee than annual memberships.
• Auto-Renewal: Memberships automatically renew unless canceled in writing 30 days before the renewal date.
• Switching Plans: Members may upgrade their membership at any time with 30 days’ notice. Downgrades are only permitted at the end of the current term with 30 days’ notice.
• Non-Refundable: All membership fees are final and non-refundable for any reason.
4. Payment and Billing
• Payment Processing: Membership fees will be billed and processed by HREV. Members must maintain a valid debit/credit card or ACH payment method on file.
• Auto-Billing: Fees for membership plans will be charged automatically to the payment method on file at the start of each term.
• Payment Failures: In the event of insufficient funds or payment failures, HREV reserves the right to retry payment or pursue collections. Membership benefits may be suspended until payment is resolved.
• Fee Adjustments: Any changes to membership fees will be communicated at least 30 days before the renewal date.
5. Access to Benefits
• Benefits are accessible via the Better by MTA platform. Members must maintain an active membership and valid login credentials to access benefits.
• Discounts and offers cannot be combined with other promotions unless explicitly stated.
6. Governing Law and Arbitration
• Healthcare Revolution LLC: Disputes related to the Better by MTA platform, payments, or technology will be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, with jurisdiction in Delaware courts.
• Medical Tourism Association: Disputes related to MTA benefits and association membership will be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, with jurisdiction in Florida courts.
• Arbitration: Any disputes will be submitted to arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association in the applicable jurisdiction.
7. Communications and Branding
• Communications, invoices, and payment confirmations will be issued by HREV. These communications will prominently feature MTA branding to ensure members recognize the program’s connection to MTA.
• Members consent to receive electronic communications related to their membership.
8. Liability and Indemnity
• Limitation of Liability: HREV and MTA are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use membership benefits.
• Indemnification: Members agree to indemnify and hold harmless HREV and MTA against any claims arising from their use of membership benefits.
9. Termination and Cancellation
• Members may cancel their membership with 30 days’ written notice before the renewal date by contacting support@medicaltourismassociation.com.
• HREV and MTA reserve the right to terminate memberships at their discretion for any breach of these terms.
10. Entire Agreement
These terms constitute the entire agreement between the member, HREV, and MTA. No additional representations or agreements, verbal or written, are binding unless incorporated herein.
